Amar Chokhe(r) Bali - The Journey to reach Bali

Starting from the Kolkata Airport. It was a long journey and so I decided to be comfortable in a tshirt and lounge pant.
Checked in to the lounge and strolling around, looking at the merchandise in the duty free shops.
Boarded the Singapore Airlines flight to Singapore. Have a connecting flight to Denpasar after a 2 hours layover.
Reached the Changi Airport, Singapore
Singapore Airport is beautiful and a Tourist attraction in itself. You will get to see many instaworthy places inside the Airport only. But due to lack of time, we could cover only the orchid garden. We plan to cover the rest on way back when we have a layover of 6 hours.

Security check done. Waiting to board the flight.

But they are a but different than the way we perceive hinduism. For example, Garud and Jatayu are worshipped in Bali. We hardly do it in India. This picture depicts the winged gods of Bali

Balinese people are expert wood carvers. Trees are abundant in Bali and you will find beautiful wooden furniture every where. During my stay, I have rarely seen any thing other than wood being used any where. And the designs are beautiful.
